Sungening specializes in the innovative R&D of cyclic peptide drugs, with its headquarters in Shenzhen. Its Hong Kong subsidiary enables cross-border collaborative R&D, housing a cyclic peptide screening platform and clinical headquarters. We have built the SunCyclix™ cyclic peptide R&D system, empowered by mRNA display technology, AI-aided screening and medicinal chemistry optimization. Sungening boasts a portfolio of Best-in-Class core pipelines: SG1001 (antifungal) is in Phase II clinical trial in China and Phase I in the US; SG6001 (oral lipid-lowering cyclic peptide) is pending IND filing. SG1001（BIC，II期臨床）：侵襲性曲黴病（免疫功能低下患者群體中死亡率超 50% 的真菌病）；全球僅兩款處於臨床階段的二氫乳清酸脫氫酶抑制劑；安全性優於兩性黴素 B，可解決伏立康唑等唑類藥物的耐藥性難題；該藥大中華區權益已與麗珠醫藥達成超 1400 萬美元授權合作，開放海外權益。
-SG1001 (Best-in-Class, Phase 2 processing):• Indication: Invasive Aspergillosis (50+% death rate fungal diseases in immunocompromised patients);• Position: The only 2 DHODHi in the clinical stage. Better safety than Amphotericin-B, addressing risks of azole resistance (e.g., to voriconazole) ;• SG1001 already secured a $14M+ deal for Greater China rights with Livzon, and now offer exclusive overseas out-licensing rights.-SG6001 (Differentiated Oral PCSK9 Inhibitor, IND submission in Q4 2026)• Indication: Hyperlipidemia (High LDL-C)• Position: World’ s 3rd oral PCSK9i after MK-0616 (Merck, Phase 3) and AZD0780 (AZ, Phase 3). Animal Model (hamster & rhesus monkey models) proves superior LDL-C lowering efficacy vs. MK-0616.• SG6001 offer global out-licensing or co-development rights.
